Alia (inter alia) is a Bermudian multidisciplinary artist and photographer with British and Libyan heritage.

my practice stems from a quest to find belonging and to heal from societal and childhood wounds, allowing me to inhabit, navigate and process the light and dark aspects of the world on my journey back to centre.

embracing an expanded practice allows me to engage more widely with concept, materiality and form and serves to uncover my authentic voice - helping me better understand its place and purpose and value in the world around me.

i find joy in: love, story, nature, food, connection, music, movement and social justice.

i root for the underdog.

i look for the beauty in that which is shared, no matter its tragic beginnings.
