all the eggs a woman will ever carry form in her ovaries while she is a four-month-old fetus in the womb of her mother.
the Work contemplates the onerous task of healing intergenerational trauma, a work that can be simultaneously weighty, imperfect, yet awesome; not only for our own present wellbeing, but to heal our ancestral lines both before us and after us.

i am capturing photographic portraits of women who identify as self-healers, undertaking the heavy work necessary to heal themselves and their families.
my subjects are asked to interact with the egg whilst interrogating their healing journey, thus far.
